The artistic practices of Tellervo Kalleinen (*1975, Lohja) and Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen (*1971, Dresden) vary from organising events such as "The First Summit of Micronations" in Helsinki (together with Muu ry) to making films collaboratively with volunteers and doing performances and lectures. Their latest activities include the "Complaints Choir" project and a film about utopian communities in Australia. They edited two books about micronations and together with the artist group YKON they prepare the next summit of micronations at Brioni Islands. Tellervo Kalleinen's video project "In The Middle of a Movie", in which amateurs directed short movie scenes in their own homes, was shown in Museums and exhibition spaces around the world. Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen is an active member of the Romantic Geographic Society. He has investigated the mysterious invention of the Northern Light Generator by Prof. Lemström. Tellervo's and Oliver's latest collaborative works were presented in 2006/07 at Sparwasser HQ (Berlin), Hamburger Kunsthalle, Momentum 06 (Norway), Singapore Biennale, Galerie für Landschaftskunst (Hamburg), MOCA Taipei, S.M.A.K. in Ghent, KUMU in Tallin and at ARS06 at the Finnish Museum of Contemporary Art KIASMA (Helsinki).
